Three Generations of Master Craftsmanship
In 1960, Arslan Hajiev opened a small monument workshop at the central cemetery in Makhachkala, Dagestan. Working with local granite, he built a reputation for meticulous craftsmanship and deeply personal service that honored each family’s story.
What began as Hajiev Stones grew through decades of dedication. After the Soviet era, the business became a private enterprise, and Arslan’s sons carried the tradition forward — refining techniques, sourcing premium materials from quarries worldwide, and expanding to serve families across the United States.
Today, Memory Headstones is part of the H Memorial Group family, combining three generations of stone-carving expertise with modern 3D design technology and laser etching precision. Every memorial we create carries the same commitment to excellence that Arslan instilled over sixty years ago.
